I pulled Deja, her mom, and siblings out of the pound when they were 5 days old. They all went to great homes, but Deja was determined she was staying with me, and I am so glad. She loves her toys and is just like her mom; she does not leave home without one, even when we are just going for a walk. She is an amazing happy girl who has beaten several mast cell tumors and hemangiosarcoma. She has now been diagnosed with lymphoma, and we are hopeful that she will go into remission. We have a bond that is truly indescribable and amazing. Strangers will comment on the way she looks at me. She has been and is the best girl ever, and she deserves her moment of fame.
