Piper’s last day at the kill shelter in Georgia when she was 2-3 years old was quickly approaching when her rescue group swooped in and saved her. She was transferred to a foster home, and I found her on an adoption site. She has the kindest soul, is submissive to her two feline roommates, met a canine best friend on one of our hikes 13 years ago whom she still visits, and just wants to snuggle and run in the yard of her happy forever home—even in her old age. She hopes that more amazing pets like herself are rescued from shelters.
