Katniss was captured after many attempts running loose at the Miami Zoo. It was like the Hunger Games, thus her name, Katniss. She only weighed 19 lbs; now she is 65 lbs. She had many open wounds when rescued. She was my foster failure. It took a year for her to finally wag her tail and trust again. She has been the sweetest girl and won our hearts completely.
