Joey is our savior. When we brought Joey home, his presence changed the whole dynamic in the house. My mother-in-law, who was 83 at that point, became so happy. She is always happy, but now with Joey, she loves to pet and massage him while watching CNN on the couch. He occasionally sleeps with her and she laughs so much when he barks at other dogs from our terrace. He has changed my life as well. He sleeps between my partner and me, follows me around, and even visits me in the bathroom occasionally when I’m showering, sitting by the shower doors. I love that he has to be right against us when he sleeps or between our legs. We just had a blizzard in NYC, and we have tons of snow. It brings me such happiness to see him jumping around in the snow and running around with other dogs. He has just been a wonderful dog and we are all very happy to have him.
