Her mom was abandoned by a neighbor who had moved. I was always feeding her mom, and when I found out she was abandoned, I brought her mom in to care for her and planned on getting her and her babies fixed and then rehomed. The day I took Crystal's sister to her new family, I told my husband we only had one left to find a home, and he said, 'Let’s keep her.' She was always following me around. He came up with the name. She has been my guardian angel and best friend. I can’t express enough how much of an impact she has had on my life. She has always been there through some of the most difficult times. I believe she is my soul pet.
