Bubba spent his first eight years with a family who decided to leave him outside in a cement yard, sectioned away from the family. Flies had eaten the tips of his ear fur off, and they were raw. I caught glimpses of him in trouble, desperately wanting attention or limping in his home, not wanting to come out. I asked about him for over a year before they relented in letting me keep him. After some basic obedience work, my boy became the best dog ever. His current fur pattern was due to a double hernia surgery. At 13 and a couple thousand dollars later, I have my energetic, curious boy back! Worth every penny! And grey hair too!
