I adopted Boomer six weeks ago from a shelter. He was given up because his owner went into a nursing home in Ohio. He was left with the neighbor to find a home, and they let him outside where he picked up a parasite. They said his name is Boomer, but he doesn't answer to this name at all. He was quite skinny, just getting over a parasite, and very, very sad. He has finally lost his sad face and has gained a little weight. He is a very well-behaved kitty; his owner trained him very well. We estimate him to be about 10 years old. He seems to be doing very well, sleeping in my bed, on my chair, and yesterday on my pillow on the bed. I guess he is feeling pretty comfy here now.
