Petspiration Spotlight: Audrey

Audrey is a foster that I was only supposed to care for for 3-4 months. Three months in, the rescue dumped us and the people who were supposed to help find her forever home also disappeared. A nice lady I've never met in person has taken it upon herself to make sure she has food, any vet care, and is trying hard to find her a home. She's a volunteer at one of our shelters. Audrey is a great dog. She gets along with every dog or person she's ever met. I have a dog that's very picky about who she likes, and she's taken Audrey in. I have little dogs, and she backs away from them like they're the leaders. I have dogs from 6 lbs to 110 lbs, and all love her and she them. She loves playing in the water all the time. She's very funny. She runs around the yard. It doesn't matter if it's warm or cold out; she'll jump into the doggie pool. She gets in there and digs in the water, splashing it all over. It seems to bring her great joy.
